Sunsets

20170810_183012

Why is it that we always find
Sunsets so amazing,
So wonderful,
So breathtaking?

20170810_183008

Is it because of the colors and hues
In full display
Showering the world
With a brand new kaleidoscope
Is it because the dreary blues
Are replaced with vibrant reds,
oranges, and violets
Is it because it feels refreshing
After a long day
Filled with deadlines, exams, and fights
A chance to renew the old ways
An opportune moment to unwind
To shake of the concerns of the mind
Or is it because sunsets are romantic
The perfect view for ecstatic young lovers
Taking a stroll, holding hands
Like there’s no tomorrow
And there is no sorrow
Just that moment
Ever fleeting, ever wanting.
Is it because it is another trivial thing
Romanticized by poets, singers, storytellers
Or is it the fact that
the beauty of the divine creation
takes part in the changing of the colors,
The dancing of the clouds
Regaling us with the mysteries of the unknown

20170810_182952
Sunsets may be all of these things combined
Or all of these things intertwined
A dab or two
Maybe a part of a whole
The sum of all its parts
And what’s left to be told
Sunsets may be all of these
Or maybe not
But one thing is for real
Sunsets are for the weary,
For the weak,
For the dreary and lonely,
For the romantics,
For the artists, for those longing for a home,
For the young ones,
For the ones who are almost done,
For everyone
And for no one
All at once
Sunsets give the promise of hope
Never fading
Never staying
Hope for a new beginning
Hope for a joyful ending
For all good or bad things in between
Which takes shape as dusk arrives
For which awaits us by dawn.

L’oreal Rouge Magique Lipstick- Take it or Leave it?

July is one of the most-awaited months by Filipino beauty junkies like me! Why? It is the National Lipstick Month. To celebrate women and beauty, almost all of the brands give promos and sales on their lipsticks! Of course, I had to join in on the fun and allowed myself to hoard some lippies perfect for the start of the school season.

L’oreal hosted a big sale on their lip products with a buy 1 take 1 promo. I have been itching to get my hands on these goodies because I heard that L’oreal’s lipstick formula are top-notch. I got one lippie each from the Rouge Magique line and the Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick.

For today, I present to you the L’oreal Rouge Magique Lipstick in Beige Reveur.

  • Packaging (5/5)

This has got to be one of the most gorgeous packaging of drugstore bullet lipsticks. Honestly, it looks high-end to me! It is quite sturdy so rest assured it wont get damaged so easily. It gives a sleek and sophisticated vibe because of its color scheme- matte black for the bottom and pink for the cap. It also has a sturdy lock because the cap only fits in a specific manner. This might be somewhat time-consuming for some girls but I dont mind.

  • Formula (4/5)

The Rouge Magique lipstick line offers matte formula which is perfect for everyday use. First of all, it feels very comfortable on the lips because it is lightweight. Second, the color comes off with just one swipe. You can even build it up to make it look darker. It’s like having two lipstick shades in one. However, it accumulates in bits on dry lips so make sure to apply lip balm first to moisturize the lips. The formula is quite comparable to Maybelline’s Creamy Matte lipsticks. The two have similar feel and application on the lips. Third, it doesn’t make my lips dry and it does not accentuate the lines of my lips which I think is really good. You have to wipe it off with a tissue first before reapplying after you eat otherwise it will just accumulate into little bits.

20170811_115529.jpg

  • Staying power (4/5)

For a bullet lipstick, it performs well and lasts for about 6 hours without eating or drinking. However, after you eat or drink, it stains the lips which I think is really helpful if you dont want to reapply more often. But I dont mind reapplying though.

  • Shade range (5/5)

The shade range us absolutely stunning and diverse! What’s more exciting is that this line is curated to suit Filipina skintones so I bet every lipstick will look good on morenas and girls with yellow undertone. Beige reveur is simply the perfect pinky brown nude for my undertone. It has the right mix of peach, brown, and pink that I get to sport off on schooldays. Also, blushes with peach or pink undertone can go with this lippie.

  • Price (3/5)

The original price is Php 400 (around 8 dollars). I think it is slightly expensive for the average drugstore lipstick especially since it is much similar to the Maybelline Creamy Mattes which is around Php 299. However, I think it costs more than the Maybelline lipstick because it has a sturdier and more sophisticated packaging. That’s why I waited for it to be on sale before I decided to take it. So I practically scored this lippie for half the usual price. But with its pricepoint, the quality is pretty good so I think it is justifiable. If I would get the chance to purchase another lipstick for this line, I think I would go for it.

All in all, this lippie is under my “Take it” list. Drugstore finds like these are too good to pass by so better hoard it while you can ladies! Also, L’oreal Philippines is holding a 25% on their Rouge Magique lipstick line so if you feel like treating yourself out go check L’oreal sections available in Watsons and SM department stores.

Hope this helps!

To all the boys I’ve liked before,

IMG_0346

To my first ever crush,
I was young then,
naive and stupid
full of childhood fantasies and make-believe
Maybe I am still childish today
but I had grown a bit more mature,
I hope.
Well, I thought you were
my Prince Charming
You in your neat shirt and crisp black shorts
accessorized with your dimpled smile and
your big, brown eyes
The perfect boy-next-door
We were friends;
that I am sure of
We played around the school yard
everyday after class
And when others boss me around
You defended me and dried my tears
I felt like a damsel in distress
saved by her knight in shining armor
But it wasn’t meant to be something more
You just taught me how to be
kind, to be daring and gentle,
to be generous
and most of all,
You taught me the value of friendship.

To my childhood friend,
It took me ten long years
to move on from you
I thought you felt it too
That flush on my cheeks whenever
we slept over at your house
Those stolen glances directed at your back
The butterflies on my stomach
multiply when you call my name
Did you notice how I stutter
and cringe? How I try to be
on my best behavior at all times?
Well.. That was your doing.
And in my head, you and I
we were the perfect pair
Until that fateful day when
you grew cold and distant
So I crushed my hopes,
thinking how futile it was
to keep liking you
But then you started talking to me again
after five years of silence
You told me things I thought
I would never know
You told me of your dreams,
you goals, and most importantly,
You told me of your girls.
Yes, I was the confidante.
The go-to when you wanted
to know how to impress a girl
But what hurts the most was
you liked every girl except me
Your virtual hugs,
Your endearing pats on my head,
our intertwined fingers,
they never meant anything.
I was just your little sister,
never a lady
nor a woman
not even a girl
Just. Your. Sister.
It did hurt. I’m not gonna lie.
But you taught me the virtue of patience
and for that I’m grateful.
You’re still a heartless,
unfeeling, cruel jerk though
for letting me step on your rollercoaster ride.
Thanks, but no thanks.

To my puppy love,
DAMN YOU!
I was happy, finally free of
boys who would likely
screw me up in some way
But you had to come along
If I had known,
I would have jumped off a cliff
rather than actually get to know you.
Because knowing you led me into a trap
You were my nightmare
Even worse than Chuckie the Doll
and believe me,
I was utterly terrified of that ugly rag doll.
It started out fine.
You and I had a platonic relationship.
You were a bully and I was the victim.
But you became sweet
and had a change of heart
or so I thought.
Not only that,
you thought I was smart,
funny,
amazing,
brilliant,
kind,
BEAUTIFUL.
So why the hell did you let me down?
You said you liked me,
and for a while we had a spark
A connection that was sudden
You made me feel special
You looked at me like I was the only one who mattered.
You listened to my thoughts,
You took care of me,
and showed me I was worth it.
But that was part of your grand scheme, wasn’t it?
You started using me
calling up on small favors
telling me I was the best.
After some time, you held back
slowly closed your doors
I didn’t understand.
where did I go wrong?
You didn’t speak to me for ages
after I have given you everything you wanted
You kept me running around in circles
with every unreplied message,
my dignity withered.
I kept asking why.
Nothing.
Until your birthday.
That day, you told me the answer
You said I was clingy.
Indecisive.
Bitchy.
Bossy.
Fragile.
You said, you couldn’t love someone
who was in fragments.
You said, you couldn’t love someone
who was easily broken.
You said, you couldn’t love someone
who was so dependent.
I believed you.
I shouldn’t have but I did.
I buried myself fifty feet under.
I lost sight of my dignity.
I didn’t feel confident with myself.
I felt unwanted, unloved, broken.
I was shattered and I fell apart.
I allowed myself to be who you wanted me to be.
DAMN YOU BASTARD!
But now, I know better.
I was never one of those things.
I was never the person you said I was.
I was fierce.
And strong.
And beautiful.
You were lucky to have a fraction of my love once.
I will never make the same mistake again.
You’re just a lesson now.
A difficult one to learn
but it was worth it
You taught me how to embrace my confidence.
to be brave,
to be beautiful in my own skin,
to follow my own voice,
to be proud of myself,
To be strong.
You were wrong about me,
I was never fragile.
You were.
For the record,
You were more fragile than I was,
than I ever will be,
Asshole.

To my guy bestfriend,
I liked you.
But not in that way.
You were my conscience,
Yopu loved me.
even though I can
never reciprocate it
But you did.
And I am sorry.
Really. Truly. Deeply sorry
I never should have led you on,
You must hate me now.
I hate myself too.
But you will find someone better
someone who is more deserving of your love
I am too strong-willed for you
Too flighty, like a bird.
Too stubborn.
I could make you happy, yes.
But that won’t make me feel contented.
So you made me learn the hardest lesson yet,
to let someone go.
So they can fulfill their destinies.
even without me
I hope you will not understand,
Maybe not today
or tomorrow,
But someday, you will.

The four of you
shaped me into who I am today
If not for all of you,
I wouldn’t be me.
even you, guy number three
every hurt,
every joy,
every pain,
all these things that I went through
It molded me to be a better person
Now I can say to that special someone
who will hold and guard my heart next,
I am prepared now.
To be a damsel in distress,
to ride a rollercoaster,
to experience sweet dreams or the ultimate nightmare,
to let all feelings go.
I am ready to get hurt.
I will embrace the pain,
If you’d be worth it.
I hope you are worth it.
or else,
You’ll just be another lesson
and eventually become guy number five.

So I hope you are different,
This time,
I hope and pray
that you’ll be the one
The only one
for the rest of my life.

DISCLAIMER:
I know this poem is quite lengthy but I would like to take that risky leap and bare it all- the deepest secrets of my heart. This was actually written last April 19, 2017 and I swore to myself that if ever I would start a blog, this would be published (even though some of the guys mentioned above might get to read this). In the event that they do, I bear no ill feelings towards each of you. I have forgiven you a long time ago and I hope you will forgive me too. That said, I hope you enjoyed reading this. Let me know your thoughts about this one so feel free to comment down below (I might answer back).

Take it or Leave it? The EB Advance LTD Liquid Lipstick

Let’s face it. Ever since the Kardashians have sported out the liquid lippie trend, everybody wanted to step up their lipstick game too. Eventually, Kylie Jenner created her own makeup line with tons of amazing liquid lipsticks to splurge on (popularly known as Kylie lipkits). But let’s not hide the fact that these costs thousands of bucks and can make our wallets go bankrupt. So, I am out to find great alternatives from the drugstore. One collection caught my eye- the Ever Bilena Advanve LTD liquid lipstick!

For a price of 180 php (about 3$), it claims to be a velvety soft liquid lipstick that delivers buildable, and long-lasting lip color with a matte finish. It is formulated with emolients that help keep your lips supple and smooth. This exclusive range comes in high impact shades that range from soft mauvey nudes to deep vampy reds.

I got two shades- soft cinnamon and jet setter. According to their saleslady, jet setter is their bestseller! The line has 12 shades in total. Almost all of the shades are flattering for Filipina skintones.

Screenshot_2017-07-07-22-56-44-1.png

To start with, the packaging is very sleek and by no means does it look cheap. I think it can pass off as a high-end product. It comes as a rectangular-shaped plastic tube which makes it easy to see the actual lip color. Its cap is also color coordinated so you can see right away which colors are offered. The lipstick has a doe-foot applicator which makes it so easy to apply on the lips ( NO NEED FOR LIPLINERS!).

Left to right: Soft cinnamon and Jet setter

Next, we have the formula. True to its claim, it feels velvety and soft on the lips unlike other drugstore liquid lipsticks I have tried which can crack and dry the lips more. Well this is an exception, this feels like nothing but powder on the lips. It is so comfortable that I almost forget that I have lipsticks on. The consistency is creamy and it dries down to a matte finish. However, you need to give it a few minutes before it dries and sets down on the lips. But right off the bat, you get 100% pigmentation with just one swipe. I dont need to add multiple layers to get the desired color pay-off. This comes as a surprise for me because I didn’t expect it to be really pigmented.

Jet Setter on my lips! A purplish mauve lippie that is so wearable

20170719_122411

Soft cinnamon on my lips. A classic vampy red lippie with blue undertone.

Longevity-wise, I will give this product two thumbs up! I have worn both shades for casual hangouts and dates with my friends and it lasted for 12 hours! I didn’t have to reapply even after I ate lunch and dinner. When it comes off, it leaves a stain which I think is cool. It is transferproof so you dont see lip smears on your glass when you drink water. You need a good makeup remover to get this off your lips. I use Johnsons baby oil to wipe it off.

Below are some pictures from my hangouts (around 9pm so Jet Setter and Soft Cinnamon lasted for 12 hours, I applied my makeup at 9 am). Bear in mind that these pictures were taken on separate days.

Last but not the least, let’s talk about the price tag. For 180 pesos, you get everything that the product claims (even more). Also, the expiry dates are indicated on the packaging (24 months). These products exceeded my expectations! It has always been my mantra never to look down on affordable makeup products from the drugstore and I was right. Sometimes, we need to test the product out tonsee if it works for us. Indeed, the EB Advance LTD Liquid lipsticks have workedout so well for me! Personally, I thought that Ever Bilena was not really good in delivering good quality makeup before. But I think they are starting to reinvent their products to suit the public’s taste. I have not regretted my decision to purchase these. It is so satisfying to find products comparable to luxury ones. I will definitely try to purchase the other shades (or at least the ones that can compliment my skin tone) and other Ever Bilena products. Watch out high-end brands, I think the drugstore finds are stepping up their make-up game too!

The verdict for these lippies: ABSOLUTELY TAKE IT! It has it all- budget-friendly, creamy, matte lippies, long-lasting, and just beautiful on the lips. Go try it out now. You can find it on watsons and SM beauty department stores.

Let me know if you want me to try other drugstore products too, leave a comment below.

Always remember, breaking the bank is not worth it if you can find an amazing dupe at your own drugstore. Feel free to try something new, you might be in for a good surprise.

This is your drugstore makeup girl signing off (for now)! I will be out to hunt for more drugstore makeup goodies. Hope this helps!

Xoxo 😙

Broken strings

(DISCLAIMER: photo not mine)

Cherry red lip stains

On the collar of your shirt

Sweet talk that hurt

Late nights, phone calls

Often rushed meetings

In the middle of the night

I’m still waiting

And people say, I should let go

That you have found someone new

And I am not good enough for you

All we have left are

Broken strings

And paper roses

Fake, trash, unreal

But I’m still stuck with the promise of forever

Still trapped in the dreams we made together

Hoping that somehow

We’ll still get that happy-ever-after

Flushed cheeks

Dazed eyes

The scent of wine on your skin

Dreamy gazes and faraway looks

You look at me

But I was no longer the one in your eyes

I am trying to let go

And find somebody else

Who will love me like you love her

But here I am

Lingering in the memories we shared together

Placing hopes in the promise of forever

Wondering if I’ll still have that happy-ever-after

Take it or Leave it? THE MILANI STAY PUT BROW

I am back! This time, I decided to start my take or leave it series which is basically a makeup review. This is the part where my make-up self takes over so bear with me poet friends. So, the gist of this series is to feature a make-up product, reveal its pros and cons, and give my honest opinions whether or not it is worth your money. I would also like to point out that I am mostly going to feature locally available brands (here in the Philippines) which are affordable since I want to give good alternatives to high-end make-up.

Make-up junkies always say that eyebrows should be on fleek and so I got the Milani Stay Put Brow to follow that rule. It claims deliver superior staying power with up to 16 hours of wear time, with the perfect amount of color, assuring precise application and intense definition. It has 5 shades- soft brown, natural taupe, medium brown, brunette and dark brown. Since I have black hair, I picked up dark brown.

images.jpg

In the picture, dark brown appears to lean into black brown but when I got mine, it appears to be lighter in the pan.

20170704_113132.jpg

However, when I swatched it, it looks black brown which is perfect for my hair color.20170704_113950.jpg

Depending on your preference, you can control the application to have a natural look or a bolder look. It has a creamy consistency which I love because it glides off easily in the brows. I also love the fact that my eyebrows are tamed by this product so no brow gel is needed. I got it for 340 Php or about 7$. For its price, I think that it is definitely worth it because a little goes a long way so it will last you for a long time. Also, a good eyebrow brush is included which saves you extra bucks. The brush has a spoolie on the other end to comb your brow hairs. I think it can be a dupe for the Anastasia brow pomade but I have yet to try that one. For its staying power, I dont know if it actually lasts up to 16 hours but I have worn this look for 8 hours and my eyebrows were still pretty much on fleek. All in all, I got a good bargain because the product is very affordable and has great quality comparable to high-end products.

Milani is not available in our local department stores but it can be easily ordered online. For my fellow Pinay kikays who are interested in this product, check out christineandcamille on shopee.

For this product, I say you should take it!

Hope this helps, comment below for your thoughts or suggestions.

THANKS!

She is a sad girl. And she knows it. It is your job to make her forget the sadness, the misery, and the loneliness. Make her believe in  fairytales and happy endings. Make her believe that forever is not just a word. Make her see that forever is something to look forward to because it happens. Open her eyes to new possibilities, to fulfilled promises, to sunrises and sunsets. Never make her feel that she is alone. You don’t want that. She’ll end up pushing you away. Instead, let her feel that you are there to stay. Whatever happens, whatever challenges life throws at your way, tell her you will not budge. You are her constant thing in this world of goodbyes and farewells. Make her feel like she is a princess for she is one. Dont ever take her for granted. Make her feel special. Let her discover her self-worth. Your goal is to hear her say, “I am special”. Lastly, love her with every fiber of your being. Love her with all that you are. Love her as best as you can. Love her, always. It is up to you to create her own happily ever after. And if you dont, she’ll be more sad than ever.

She

20151226_223332Like a bird
Caught in the middle of a storm
Her wings got broken
And she lost everything
What only remained was
A shadow of her former glory

Like a wolf
On its last breath,
She fought to live with her last might
Even if it rendered her
Withering to nothingness
Crumbling to dust

Like a bear
Gearing up for winter,
She chose a deep sleep
To bury the pain of her failures
To preserve her sanity

Like a phoenix,
She will be reborn
What once was ashes
Will soon bloom into something more powerful
Stronger than ever,
Bolder and braver than before

How to Melt a Girl’s Heart

While girls are big suckers for grand, lavish and big surprises, they are also appreciative and grateful for the little gestures of love. Most of the time, it doesn’t need a lot of effort to impress girls. What’s really important is to take her best interests to heart and just make her feel special.

This post is entirely dedicated to the guys out there who are clueless on how to score on the love meter without overusing your wallet. To know more, keep on scrolling.

  1. Make use of your hidden talents. Be it singing, dancing, writing poems or painting, these talents could come in handy. Girls swoon over haranas, lyrical dances, romantic poems (especially if it’s dedicated to her). It touches their hearts knowing that someone was inspired to do something creative and amazing.
  2. Never underestimate the power of love letters. In this modern and high-tech world, a handwritten love letter is a welcome break. It makes things extra special for her since letters are seldom sent out because emails and text messages are already the trend. Love letters give the feel of having tons of effort since it needs to be thought of carefully and romantically! Words also add to the spice of the romantic feel so make sure to add cheesy stuff (but sincere) too. Always remember that your words should come from the heart.
  3. If lengthy letters are not your type, sticky notes come in handy. Leaving out sticky notes for your girl takes on a mysterious yet caring twist. A simple “Good morning!” or “How are you? Hope you had a good day!” can earn a smile or a laugh.
  4. Stock up on your good jokes. Whenever girls are down, there is nothing more welcome than a good laugh. So, don’t hesitate to be her personal clown.
  5. Bring her favorite goodies. Try to spoil her sometimes with her favorite sweets, favorite meals, favorite drink, or just any goodie she’s in love with. This trick helps particularly when she’s craving for something (usually food). Be her own delivery guy or whatnot. This sweet gesture can make her feel loved and important.
  6. Be her umbrella on a rainy day. Now this tip can go literally or figuratively. What perfect way to set a romantic mood than sharing your umbrella with her on rainy days. It means that you care for her deeply. Also, lend her your shoulder to cry on in times of troubles. Girls can be tough and strong-willed but there are times that their fighting spirits are low, so this is your time to shine and make her feel better again.
  7. Get on her family’s good side. This can make her feel that you are ready to be a part of her family and that you care not just for her but for her family too. It is important to be on her family’s good side since they are important to her. Remember, what’s important to her should be important to you.
  8. Don’t forget to give her compliments. You don’t want her to feel ugly, ordinary, or unimportant. So it is crucial to let her know what you see in her. Compliment on her smile, her laugh, her look, or her dress. No matter what, girls love to be reminded that they are beautiful (especially since most of the time they don’t feel beautiful). Let them know that they are deeply appreciated.
  9. Participate in her hobbies. In this way, you get to know her better. Also, it shows how interested you are in her. A little research is always helpful.
  10. Last but not the least, go to church with her (or attend praise and worships together). Girls want to know if guys still believe in God. Keep your faith in check and spend time with the Lord too. This way, you’ll both grow spiritually together.

The “No make-up” Make-up Look

Like all teenage girls/ladies, I have also been fascinated with make-up. I find it truly creative and artsy.

This year’s trend is probably the “no make-up” make-up look. This look focuses on just enhancing your facial features subtly rather than transforming your face entirely (like Western Make-up promotes). Most Korean lead actresses (eastern make-up) favor this kind of look because it is lightweight and natural which is perfect for the hot and humid weather in our country.

The essence of this make-up look is rather simple: no heavy eyeliner, perfect base, and no bold lip color. The skin should look naturally flawless, healthy, and radiant. There shouldn’t be visible boundaries among the different layers of products. Everything should be seamless to give the idea of  a refreshed and healthy looking face. What’s even more exciting is that minimal products are needed to achieve this look.

As a make-up junkie, I find it necessary to master this make-up look. So here it goes.

1. Use a moisturizer preferably with SPF. I use the Celeteque DERMOSCIENCE Sunscreen plus moisturizer (the yellow one). It helps moisturize my skin while providing protection for the sun’s harmful UV rays. It also gives the skin a dewy finish.

2. Conceal only where it’s needed. Use a lightweight concealer like the L’oreal true match concealer (mine is in the shade W4 medium beige). However, I don’t normally use concealers since my skin is looking good and I don’t have any dark under-eyes to hide.

3. Highlight the highest points of the face with a cream or stick highlighter. This is entirely optional but I like to do it to make specific areas stand out. I highlight my cheekbones,  bridge of the nose, and cupid’s bow. I use the Maybelline master strobing stick in nude. Afterwards, I blend it with my fingers, a damp sponge, or a kabuki brush.

4. Set the oily parts (usually the T-zone) of your face with a pressed powder. It can be translucent or not. It depends when you would like to have extra coverage or you’d just like to avoid being oily. I prefer to use a foundation powder to give extra coverage such as the Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in-one two-way cake in the shade Honey. This step is vital since we have a humid and hot weather. It helps the make-up last longer.

5. Don’t forget to define your eyebrows. Even if we are aiming for a natural look, some definition for our eyebrows is needed to give balance to the whole look. Use a pencil or powder/eyeshadow which is one shade lighter than your hair color. The goal is to get soft-loooking, feathery, unmade brows that are shaped neatly which means no gaps and no obvious lines. I use the Pinkies eyebrow pencil in dark brown because it has a spoolie on the other end. I also set my brows with the Nichido clear brow gel so that my brows are tamed.

6. Apply a cheek tint or a peach powder blush. I alternately use the KJM lip and cheek tint in summer kiss or Maybelline’s V-face blush contour palette in peach for my cheeks. It gives me that warmth and glow needed to brighten up the face.

7. This step is optional, mostly depending on my mood. Use neutral colors for the eyes to add definition. Mostly, I just use the blush and contour palette from Maybelline for my eyes to compliment the cheeks and to tie it up with the look. Monochromatic natural make-up also looks good on Filipinas. I lightly dust the brown shade in my crease and I liberally apply the peachy shade on my lids.

8. Curl up your lashes and apply your favorite mascara. Mine is Maybelline’s hypercurl mascara. I love it since it’s not only waterproof but it also lengthens and volumizes my lashes without looking too dramatic.

9. Lastly, choose a nude or neutral lipstick which ties up with your eyes and cheeks. For the KJM cheek tint in summer kiss, I use the

Maybelline creamy matte in Clay crush or the lip tint itself since these are towards the orange undertone. When I have the pinky peach shade from my Maybelline blush palette, I use Nichido’s velvet matte lip pencil in Cashmere or Maybelline Creamy matte in touch of spice. It is important to pick a lipstick which looks like your natural lip color but better.

There you go! That’s my take on the no make-up make-up look. I love wearing this everyday (or when I feel like wearing make-up at all). It’s quick, easy, and versatile. This look is perfect for school or work.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have questions.
